JAMB 2018 Registration: Steps To Create Profile And Get ePINS​

The Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) has published the Registration Steps and Guidelines for the forth coming UTME.


Please Note  that 2018 UTME Registration has NOT commenced. It is expected to commence November 22nd, 2017.

However, you are to get your self acquainted with the these guidelines before registration commences.


Profile Creation from Home by Candidates Using Cellphones – Text (SMS):

1. Sends his/her Surname, First Name & Middle Name (where applicable). This should be maximum of 38 characters + 2 spaces between names = 40 characters in all to JAMB short code of 55019

2. One cell number (mobile number) can be used by one candidate only

3. A confirmation code of 10 characters is received by the candidate on the same telephone number which will be used to procure the ePIN

PROFILE SELF HELP IN CASE OF MISTAKE / LOSS

To correct a mistake in candidate’s name, resend a text message (from the registered number) ​“CORRECT​ Surname First name ​Middlename ” to *55019

To retrieve a lost confirmation code, resend a text message (from the registered number) “ ​RESEND” to *55019

2018 JAMB REGISTRATION PROCESS At CBT Centres
The candidate presents the ePIN at any JAMB accredited CBT Centre for validation and completion of registration
Candidate is expected to pay not more than N700.00 as Service Charge to the CBT Centre

Use text to create profile from your phone (only one number per candidate)
Receive confirmation code in your phone

Register with your ePIN at any CBT Centre

FUTO Announces Resumption of Lectures- 2016/2017

Prior to the Suspended ASUU Strike the Federal University of Technology, Owerri has announced the resumption of lectures for the completion of the 2016/2017 academic session.

All students of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri are hereby invited to note that the strike action embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has been suspended.

Students are advised to resume lectures immediately, in their own interest.

an admission sensitisation tomorrow being
Thursday on the NTA tv @ 10 O:Clock A.M.
so all candidates are adviced to tune in to
NTA channel at the scheduled time and
watch that live and direct, where all
candidates will be educated and enlighten on
their rights and responsibilities in this year
admission process.

Strike: ASUU Postpones Branch Congress

The fate of university students now hang in the balance as the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has directed its various branches to put on-hold the proposed emergency congress today meant to take final position on the strike.
The various branch congresses were scheduled for Monday to decide on the on going five-week-old strike after the National Executive Council (NEC) in Abuja on Thursday and Friday.
The national body of the union at the weekend sent signals to branch chairmen to put on-hold the proposed meeting thus prolonging the industrial action.
On Wednesday, University of Lagos, Lagos State University, University of Ibadan, Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, Federal University of Technology Akure, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi and Federal University of Technology Minna voted for continuation of the strike
The following institutions voted for suspension: Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) Ago Iwoye, Ogun State, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Ondo State, Usmanu Danfodio University, Sokoto and University of Port Harcourt.
